Business Analyst, Portfolio Management System (Wilmington, Delaware)

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our IT department and more specifically our Business Analysts team. The Business Analyst's functions are very important in terms of interaction with other teams, such as the Operations and Corporate Sales and Marketing department. The Business Analyst is fully engaged in every phase of a life-cycle project, which is why the candidate must have a high knowledge and understanding of the service to ensure that all business requirements are documented and met.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements of the service evolution.

Responsibilities:

Collecting business information:

  • Collaborate with the company's business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented and met;
  • Have an active role in every phase of a life-cycle project;
  • Meet with clients and prospects in order to collect user's business needs;
  • Conduct marketing research, including business intelligence and competitive analysis.

Analyzing:

  • Take an active part in the business process, help implement and tailor any process of change to a given organization's situation and needs;
  • Perform business analysis related to users' interfaces, business rules and financial formulas;
  • Communicate changes to on-site and off-site clients.

Supporting Corporate Sales and Marketing team:

  • Leverage competitive intelligence in order to position AIGC Inc. ahead of competition;
  • Present AIGC Inc. to different decision levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Finance or a related field;
  • CFA license;
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in retail banking or retail brokerage;
  • Strong skills and experience in analyzing, solving problems and documenting business requirements;
  • Strong decision making approach and critical thinking;
  • Business process management;
  • Ability to build healthy working relationships with clients and peers.
  • Excellent French and English writing, editing and oral communication skills;
  • IT training, masters Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Software expertise is an asset;
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and work within deadlines.

As a recruitment officer, you'll help to find suitable staff, and people to find suitable jobs.

Your job may involve:

  • Getting vacancy details from managers
  • Interviewing and testing job seekers to build a pool of people ready to fill vacancies

Hours and Environment:

You would usually work between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. You may need to work later in the evening or on Saturday mornings, depending on your workload.
